Learn to Curl

Curling is a lifetime sport that can be enjoyed by people of any ability. We offer different options for learning to curl at the Abbotsford Curling Club.

For all programs, all equipment is provided. This includes grippers, sliders, delivery aides, and broom or sticks for delivery of the rock. We insist on clean running shoes that you carry in to the rink, and recommend wearing stretchy multiple layers of shirts and jackets. If you want to bring gloves, try to choose some that will give you grip on the broom for sweeping.

Juniors Programs

Our Monday Juniors program is designed for curlers 10 to 18 years old, of all experience levels. The minimum age is a guideline; for under 10, please contact us to discuss before registering.

Our certified instructors teach the basics and have them put the learning into practice. We ask that you bring a pair of clean running shoes to change into, as well as some stretchy pants and layers (shirt and sweater/jacket) on top. All other equipment will be provided.

Try Curling Weekends – Free!

Our free Try Curling Weekends are back! Bring out your friends and family to try something new and have some fun.
