Welcome to the Abbotsford Curling Club and The Abbotsford Curling Classic Cashspiel presented by Driving Force Decks int’l as part of the BC Tour & WCT.
All games will be 8 ends and follow Curl Canada rules, extra ends required if tied. We are limiting to 24 teams in the Men’s pool and 16 teams in the Women’s pool. There will be a 5 minute pre-game practice
(4 rocks up and 4 rocks back) before each draw. Following the pre-game practice 1 player will draw to the button (if they cover the pin a different player will draw again), this will be used to determine hammer. There will be an official provided to measure the LSD. The accumulative LSD will be used for seeding and if necessary tie breakers.
Event format and payouts will be determined by number of entries
The event will start Friday at 8am with the Finals on Sunday. The café will be open to provide food and drinks Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Our host hotel is The Coast Hotels with rates of $119 / night.
