It was a busy summer with many volunteer hours invested in refreshing our club including the reworking of our entry area, Pro Shop, Club Kitchen and The 9th End Bar & Lounge. The verdict: Thumbs up. People are loving our new & improved club interior look. Many thanks to all these fine folks who made it happen:
The club quickly got into party mode ā and the first Fundraiser event of the season ā on September 28thĀ withĀ THE PATSY CLINE SHOWĀ featuring theĀ Silver Diamond Country DancersĀ (who performed and provided a line dance lesson to boot),a LIVE performance byĀ Patsy Cline aka Alyssa Nielson, and DJ Della. Lots of fun and lots of western wear in our NEWĀ 9th End Saloon.Ā Special thanks to Tina Hinds for spearheading the organization of this event.
The Abbotsford Cashspiel presented by Major Welding and Panther Glass is being held on November 29 to December 1. We are pleased to announce we are almost full with 19 men’s teams and 10 women’s teams. We have room for 2 more ladies teams and 1 more men’s team to fill out the draw. Anyone wanting to play in this event can register at the link below.
Come out and celebrate the new bar! We’re hosting a night of music, dancing, and karaoke. Tickets are $35 which includes a drink ticket and late night snack.
