Welcome to the Abbotsford Curling Club 2024 Men’s Bonspiel, brought to you by Murray GM and Major Welding.
Rules
- Dinner is 5:30pm Saturday. Extra tickets are $35.
- Curl Canada rules will apply. All games will be 8 ends, if tied play extra end.
- All brooms are eligible for this event.
- After the 1st round robin game. ALL 4 players throw a draw to the button.
- Teams will alternate throwing. If rock is not in the house it will count as 185cm.
- Sweeping is allowed and the opposing team will measure the stones.
- TEAM WITH BEST ACCUMULATIVE DRAW TO BUTTON WINS $100
- The teams will all be seeded 1-20 after the final round robin games.
- Ties will be broken by the following system:
- Head to head (if applicable)
- Best team DTB. (accumulative from all 4 players)
- Teams seeded 1-8 will play in the A Playoff pool.
- The team with a better record will get hammer.
- Teams seeded 9-16 will play in the B playoff pool.
- The team with a better record will get hammer.
- Teams seeded 17-24 will play in the C playoff pool.
- The team with a better record will get hammer.
- Spares must play front end and can not still be playing in the bonspiel.
